HASC in Action

Do you live in Southwest Washington and love horses? Then you need to know HASC! The Horse Activities Sponsorship Club (HASC–pronounced “hah-see”) is here to make the fair even more fun for horse lovers of all ages!

If you’ve ever taken your horse to fair, you know it can be a little tiresome at the end of the day when you’re all done showing yet your horse has to stay…and so do you. At the Southwest Washington Fair held each summer in Lewis County, Washington, HASC puts on events for the kids showing at the fair, to reward their performances while showing during the day and to give them activities to do with their horses in the evenings.

Amazing gifts from local sponsors have enabled us to award scholarship money and great prizes to the youth participating in these challenges.

We also host some fun activities to keep the kids entertained, like a costume class, a fun night including stick horse races and other contests, drill team, team gaming and extreme trail competitions. We even offer some activities for the grownups too old for 4H who want to do some fun competing with their horses.
